The Toolbox Pane (Magic xpi 4.7)

The Toolbox pane is one of the three main information panes in the Magic xpi Studio. The other two are the Solution Explorer and the Properties pane. When you select a flow in the Solution Explorer, the Toolbox pane is populated with a list of Magic xpi's components, grouped together under the following categories:

  • Utilities

  • Triggers

  • Converters

  • File Management

  • Connectors

  • Communication

  • Mail

  • Messaging

  • General

  • User Components

  • Some components may appear under more than one category in the Toolbox pane.

  • Any user components that you create will also be added to the Toolbox pane.

You can access the Toolbox pane by selecting Toolbox from the View menu or pressing Ctrl+W, X.

Select and drag a component to the required position in the main pane.

Refreshing the Toolbox Pane

If you accidentally delete components from the Toolbox pane, you can refresh the pane by clicking the Edit menu and selecting Refresh Toolbox. This will restore the deleted components.
