Component Instances – Steps (Magic xpi 4.7)

Each instance of a component in a flow is referred to as a “Step”. When you configure the component instance, you can enter a name for the step to describe its functionality.

There are some components that you can only include once in a flow, such as the COM component. There are other components that you can include as many instances as you need, to achieve the desired processes. For example: you have to include one Email component instance that sends email messages and another instance that receives messages. The number of instances you can include for each component is explained in the help topics for each component.
